Back in January, a woman donated a van that though running, had seen better days. For her it was a much needed tax write-off, but for us it was at best a problem. We talked and prayed about our next course of action and decided that if we could find a shop that would donate the time and labor, and a parts store that would donate the needed parts that were needed that we would seek out a veteran who needed a vehicle and gift them with it. There is some irony about the timing. LMVFM celebrates its 10th anniversary this month, we received the van ten months ago, and ten months later, we were able to hand the keys to a young veteran who had experienced some of the harsh realities war. We thank God that He gave us an opportunity to help this veteran, and led us to Josh and his crew at "Honest Ades" who did the repair work, and Jeremy at "Napa Auto Parts" on Collins Rd who donated the parts.
